Public Input for Hamilton Pool Road Project

Sixty-five attendees participated in the latest round of public input for the Hamilton Pool Road Safety Improvements Project. The project, which spans from RR 12 to east of the switchback of the Pedernales River, received 106 mapped comments, in addition to 100 online surveys.

Travis County is taking this community input into account as it evaluates safety needs, mobility, and environmental features. The design of the bridge over Hamilton Creek is moving forward, as is the design of improvements to the entrance of Hamilton Pool Park. Suggested safety improvements – from public feedback and from an engineering study – are being developed and priced.

Interested in providing input? The next meeting will be held this summer. Read the public meeting report on the project webpage.
