Lake Travis Real Estate: Affordability and Good Schools

Regent Property Group broker Brian Talley said Lakeway and Bee Cave are popular choices for homebuyers due to their relative affordability and because of their zoning for the Lake Travis Independent School District.

In a Community Impact article, Talley said homebuyers looking in Lakeway can find solid options in the $300,000-$400,000 price range, both in the home resale market and in new construction. He said homes constantly are going on sale, and selling fast, and that the continuation of new construction is helping offset shortages in the resale market.

Talley said the average home in Lake Travis ISD is selling in 79 days, which is 20 days longer than neighboring Eanes Independent School District and indicative of the healthier inventory levels in Lakeway and Bee Cave.
