Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures, a floating adventure challenge course and playground, will open Friday, June 29, 2018. The park, on the eastern side of Lake Travis at 14529 Pocohontas Trail, features a 60-foot water playground with over 70 obstacles, such as slides, climbing walls, balance beams, monkey bars, and bridges.
Reservations are required, and rates are $50 per session, regardless of age, with a second session priced at $10. The rates include a boat ride to the Adventure Island main attraction, 45 minutes on the course, and unlimited access to Aqua Park, an area with a 12-foot tall Free Fall Slide, Springboard Jumping Tower, Ice Tower XXL, and a 25-foot wide trampoline, as well as hammocks for relaxing. Food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, will be available for sale in the Aqua Park.
Guests will be required to wear venue-supplied life vests on the obstacle course and must know how to swim. Kids must be at least seven years old and 45 inches tall and must have a parent or legal guardian with them. Upon opening, Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures will be open from Thursdays to Mondays through October, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures is located at the same starting point as Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, which was created by the same team. Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures also will be available for group events and private parties. A cabin also is available for overnight stays.
