Lake Travis area real estate took a bit of a dip in July 2018, according to the Austin Board of REALTORS® Regional Sales and Price Activity provided by the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.
Lakeway homes had a median price of $432,000 in July 2018. This was an 11 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 2.9 percent decrease from July of 2017. Twenty five homes sold in July 2018, which is a 37.5 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 24.2 percent decrease from July 2017.
Lago Vista homes had a median price of $273,300 in July 2018. This was a 3.3 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 5.8 percent decrease from July of 2017. Eighteen homes sold in July 2018, which is an 18.2 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 21.7 percent decrease from July 2017.
Bee Cave homes had a median price of $582,500 in July 2018. This was a 3.4 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 29.4 percent decrease from July of 2017. Four homes sold in July 2018, which is a 33.3 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 20 percent decrease from July 2017.
Jonestown was the outlier among Lake Travis area real estate. Jonestown homes had a median price of $582,000 in July 2018. This was an 88.7 percent increase from June 2018 and a 73.7 percent increase from July of 2017. Five homes sold in July 2018, which is a 16.7 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 25 percent increase from July 2017.
