Mark your calendars now for the 2019 Lake Travis Economic Forecast, hosted at the January luncheon of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce. The luncheon speakers will include City of Lakeway City Manager Steve Jones, Lake Travis Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Brad Lancaster, and Kuper Sothebys International Realty Broker Doug Land.
The Economic Forecast luncheon will be held January 16, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Flintrock Falls at 401 Jack Nicklaus Drive in Lakeway. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., with networking and programming beginning at 11 a.m. Admission is $40 for members of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and $45 for non-members. The cost includes lunch.
The Economic Forecast event is designed to provide attendees with firsthand information about growth and development across a range of perspectives in the South Lake Travis region.
Jones has been Lakeway City Manager since 2005 and is a small cities representative for the Austin-Travis County Emergency Services Division, as well as a member of the Texas City Managers Association. Lancaster has been LTISD Superintendent since 2012 and serves on the Texas Education Agency’s Commissioner’s Cabinet of Superintendents; the Texas High Performance Schools Consortium; and the Texas Association of School Administrators’ Legislative Services Committee. He also is the Fast Growth Schools Coalition Chairman. Land has worked in Lake Travis area real estate for over two decades, owning and managing companies for 18 years.
